CLAY COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A Park Rapids, Minnesota man is facing multiple criminal charges after attempting to flee from a traffic stop in Clay County. Nathan Moorhouse, 42, was pulled over on June 24th at 9:55 p.m. for repeatedly crossing the center line. During the stop, officers discovered that Moorhouse had an outstanding warrant and a canceled driver’s license.
When ordered to exit the vehicle, Moorhouse fled, leading officers on a chase that ended when his vehicle was forced off the road using a PIT maneuver. Upon apprehension, Moorhouse was found in possession of methamphetamine.
Moorhouse is now charged with several felonies, including fleeing a police officer and possession of methamphetamine. Additionally, he faces two gross misdemeanor charges for driving after cancellation and using a false driver’s license.
