Cass Lake, Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Cass Lake woman faces three charges after a late February dispute.

Shaelynn Kay Fisher, 26, is charged in Cass County District Court. Court documents allege domestic assault and assault.

What investigators allege

Court records say deputies were called around 9:26 p.m. on Feb. 28, 2026. The call came from a home on Northwood Loop NW.

A caller said Fisher and her mother were fighting. A deputy arrived and found Fisher being restrained.

The complaint says metal knuckles were on the floor nearby. The deputy wrote Fisher claimed they were hers.

A man listed as IGY said Fisher argued with him. He said she stomped on his face.

Fisher’s mother, listed as JCF, said IGY fell to the ground. She said Fisher ran over and kicked him.

JCF said she tried to stop Fisher. She said Fisher then punched her.

JCF told investigators she was unsure if knuckles were used. That detail is still unclear.

What Fisher told investigators

Court records say Fisher denied hitting IGY. The complaint says she later admitted to pushing and kicking him.
