GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A man is in custody, after allegedly trying to break into a vehicle in the parking lot of a Grand Forks restaurant early this Thursday morning.
we had a bit of commotion following an incident in grand forks early on this thursday morning just talked with sergeant trees of grand forks uh police department at around uh 12 15 a.m on this thursday a male was seen apparently trying to break into a vehicle and was confronted and took off running on foot uh police set up a perimeter and uh took him into custody about a block and a half later the owner of the vehicle that the suspect was trying to break into didn’t want to press charges however the suspect was wanted on a couple of outstanding warrants and was arrested i don’t have his name yet we’ll try to get that later today when i can take a look at court records uh but nobody injured and uh one person taken into custody after apparently trying to break into a car in the parking lot of applebee’s early on this thursday morning i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me

Owner didn't want to press charges? Yeah, just leave him to try it again on someone else. Glad he has outstanding warrants, but if not, you know he'd be out there again…maybe it wouldn't just be trying to break into a car this time.
