Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) Daniel H. Bailey of Grand Forks faces felony drug charges.
Court records describe a January 28 search at a south Grand Forks apartment. Investigators say they found about 130 grams of meth.
Documents say the Grand Forks Narcotics Task Force served a judge-signed search warrant. The search happened at 812 4th Avenue South, Apartment 301.
Investigators reported finding suspected methamphetamine inside the unit. They said it was in multiple baggies.
Officers also reported finding drug paraphernalia during the search. The filing says the items were tied to drug use or packaging.
Court documents did not describe every item in detail. They also did not list any other defendants.
Arrest and charges
Bailey was arrested during the warrant service, according to court documents. Prosecutors charged him with felony possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
He also faces a felony charge for possession of drug paraphernalia. The complaint does not name any police officers.
In general, “intent to deliver” cases often focus on quantity and packaging. Prosecutors can also cite other evidence from a search.
Initial appearance dates and bond terms can change quickly. Court records will show the next scheduled hearing.
