Grand Forks, North Dakota (trfnews.i234.me) Authorities responded to a pursuit in Grand Forks on Thursday evening. The first reports came in shortly after 8 p.m. A viewer video showed police activity near the area of 17th Street and Continental Drive. This location is close to Red River High School on the south side of the city.

Early reports say officers were involved in a pursuit. However, details remain limited. Officials have not confirmed if the suspect was caught or if the search is still active. Law enforcement has not released the reason for the pursuit. No injuries have been reported so far.

Police units were seen moving through the neighborhood shortly after 8 p.m. Lights were visible in the area as officers worked to secure the scene. The video shows law enforcement vehicles near residential homes. It is not clear how long the pursuit lasted or where it began.

Authorities have not issued a public statement. TRF News has reached out to police leadership for information about the event. A supervisor was not immediately available for comment. Updates will be released when officials confirm details.

This section of Grand Forks has heavy evening traffic due to nearby schools and homes. Residents in the area reported seeing fast-moving vehicles and hearing sirens. Several viewers contacted TRF News asking for information. At this time, police have not provided a timeline of the events or the identity of the suspect.

The investigation continues. More information is expected once police complete their initial review. For updates on this and other Grand Forks incidents, you can check the Grand Forks Police Department website at grandforksgov.com.
