Emergency Crews Respond to Two-Vehicle Crash in Crookston
Polk County ( trfnews.i234.me ) –Â Emergency responders were called to a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Crookston, Minnesota.
According to early reports, the crash occurred around 1:35 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 2 and Dairy Queen Road. The Minnesota State Patrol and local emergency crews responded to the scene.
Witnesses reported that one passenger was trapped inside one of the vehicles and required extrication by firefighters. Photos from the scene show significant damage to a pickup truck, with airbags deployed. Several individuals could be seen sitting on the nearby lawn as crews worked to clear the roadway.
Traffic along Highway 2 was briefly slowed as emergency responders assisted the victims and investigated the crash. No details have yet been released about the number of injuries or whether any citations will be issued.
The crash remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol and Crookston Police Department. Additional updates will be provided when more information becomes available.
