Becker Co. Barnesville Man Charged in Burglary Case

Becker County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A Barnesville man has been charged with felony burglary after stolen property was recovered during an investigation. Court records show Justin Roger Bremer, 46, has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony third-degree burglary.

According to investigators, the case began on April 19 when Becker County deputies responded to a report of a burglary at East Lake Ida Lane. Detectives later identified Bremer as a suspect. A search warrant was executed, and deputies recovered stolen items from a property where Bremer had been doing construction work. Items included a DeWalt tool and a Delta belt sander.

Bremer admitted to possessing multiple stolen items and told officers he had also given a drill press and three firearms to another man. That individual later returned the drill press to authorities, confirming Bremer had given him the property in Becker County about four days before a May 14 search of Bremer’s home.

Court records also show Bremer has a prior conviction for fifth-degree drug possession. He was released without bail on September 2 under conditions, including no contact with the victim and no possession of firearms or dangerous weapons.

Bremer’s next court appearance is scheduled for October 20 before Becker County District Judge Michael D. Fritz. Minnesota statutes outline penalties for third-degree burglary offenses.

All charges remain allegations at this stage. Bremer is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
