Bemidji (trfnews.i234.me) – Nathan Christopher Crouch, 42, of Bemidji, has been charged with felony stalking, second-degree burglary, and misdemeanor domestic abuse for violating a no-contact order.
Accusations and Investigation
According to court records, on October 8, 2025, Crouch violated an order for protection by sending a video to a woman, threatening to commit suicide by hanging. He also sent several text messages, breaching the no-contact order.
On December 26, 2025, at around 11:44 p.m., a deputy responded to a suspicious activity call at the woman’s home in rural Detroit Lakes. Crouch allegedly walked around the house with a flashlight, entered through a basement window, and moved inside. He then fled the scene and sent the woman a text message the following morning at 4:52 a.m.
The woman, who was out of town at the time, confirmed that no one should have been inside her house.

Bail and Court Appearance
Crouch was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including felony stalking and burglary. On December 30, 2025, his bail was set at $60,000 or $30,000 with conditions. Conditions included no contact with the victim, no entry into the victim’s residence, and compliance with pre-trial supervision.
Additionally, a new Domestic Abuse No Contact Order was issued. Crouch’s next court appearance is scheduled for January 26, 2026, before District Judge Gretchen D. Thilmony.
