Parkers Prairie, Otter Tail County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Henning man is facing charges after an early-morning incident in a local apartment.
Christopher Alan Ruth, of Henning, is charged with felony threats of violence. He is also charged with gross misdemeanor interference with an emergency call.
What investigators allege
According to the criminal complaint, the woman said Ruth was in her apartment overnight. She said he woke her around 3 a.m. and started an argument.
She told him she would call law enforcement. She said he left the apartment after that.
The complaint says Ruth then climbed onto the roof outside the unit. It says he entered the bedroom through a window.
The woman told deputies she felt scared and unsure what to do. The complaint says she ordered him to leave.
She also told deputies he warned her that her life would crumble. She said he also threatened to shoot her one day.

911 call interrupted, complaint says
The woman told investigators she tried to call for help again. She said Ruth took her phone and stopped the call.
The complaint says she then used her son’s phone to dial 911. Investigators say Ruth left before deputies arrived.
Charges filed
Court records show Ruth was later arrested. Formal charges list a felony count of threats of violence and a gross misdemeanor count for interrupting a 911 call.
