RAMSEY COUNTY – TRF News – A 21-year-old woman was killed Tuesday evening in a rollover crash on Interstate 694 in Arden Hills. Two passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 6:26 p.m. The woman was driving a 2011 white Subaru Legacy westbound on I-694 near Highway 10 when the car moved from the right lane to the left shoulder and struck a guardrail.
The Subaru rolled over, hit a 2021 Honda CR-V, and came to rest on its right side. Troopers confirmed the driver died at the scene. Her name is expected to be released on Wednesday.
Two passengers in the Subaru — a 20-year-old woman from Fridley and a 21-year-old woman from Brooklyn Park — were transported to Hennepin Healthcare with non-life-threatening injuries. The State Patrol noted that seatbelt use for the 21-year-old passenger was undetermined.
The driver of the Honda CR-V, a 41-year-old woman from Maplewood, was not injured. Road conditions were reported as dry at the time, and investigators have not determined what caused the crash.
The Minnesota State Patrol continues to investigate and will release more details as they become available.
