On the afternoon of 07/18/25, a Red Lake Falls resident reported a theft of money. That report remains under investigation.
Just before midnight on 07/18/25, an Oklee resident reported that some kids were ringing doorbells, then running off. Shortly after that report, an Oklee resident requested assistance in locating their adolescent child. A Red Lake County deputy located the child, who was with a group of friends. The child was returned home, and the group of kids and their parents were counseled about their behavior.
On the evening of 07/20/25, a Red Lake County deputy observed some young kids playing on the street in Plummer. The deputy was able to get the kids off of the street and return them to their residence. The parents were counseled.
On the afternoon of 07/22/25, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received separate reports from two individuals who were sending harassing messages to each other. The involved parties were counseled and advised to stop that activity.
On the afternoon of 07/23/25, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of some kids playing around near the roadway on CR. #1 west of Plummer. A Red Lake County deputy responded, located the kids, and advised them to move to a safer location.
On the evening of 07/23/25, Talon Michael Porter (26) of McIntosh was cited for misdemeanor no proof of current motor vehicle insurance on CR. #1 west of Plummer.
On the evening of 07/23/25, Virgil Boutain (70) of Plummer was cited for misdemeanor not having current motor vehicle insurance on CR. #1 west of Plummer.
On the morning of 07/24/25, Brent’s Grocery Store in Red Lake Falls reported that a man came into their store, and he appeared to be intoxicated. A Red Lake County deputy responded and gave the individual a ride home.
On the afternoon of 07/24/25, a Red Lake County deputy stopped a vehicle on CR. #1 west of Plummer for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Christina Marie Anderson (43) of Red Lake Falls showed signs of impairment. It appeared that she was under the influence of illegal controlled substances. She was arrested, taken to jail in Crookston and booked for gross misdemeanor DUI. Ms. Anderson was released from custody on the morning of 07/25/25 and she will be summonsed to appear in Court in Red Lake Falls at a later date.
On the evening of 07/24/25, a Red Lake Falls resident reported a broken window at their home and it appeared to be vandalism. That report remains under investigation.
In the early morning hours of 07/25/25, a juvenile male from Ulen, MN was cited for speeding on Main Ave. in Red Lake Falls.
