Grand Forks County – Grand Forks (trfnews.i234.me) – A fireworks-related dispute in Grand Forks has resulted in a felony terrorizing charge against a local man.

According to court documents, the incident occurred on July 8 when police were called to a disturbance on 32nd Avenue South. Neighbors reported that Jordan Brett Anderson had been lighting fireworks in his garage and throwing them toward the roadway, which prompted nearby residents to confront him.

An argument broke out between Anderson and one of the neighbors. During the confrontation, Anderson allegedly told the victim, “You’re dead.” Given past interactions and online posts involving firearms, the victim told police he interpreted the statement as a credible threat to his life.

Following an investigation, Jordan Brett Anderson was arrested and formally charged with felony terrorizing.

No injuries were reported in the incident. The case remains under review by the Grand Forks County State’s Attorney’s Office.
