Details of the Case:
- Charge: Nogowski has been charged with felony third-degree controlled substance crime – sale. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, following a complaint filed on April 19.
- Transaction: On January 25, a communication between a Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force officer and a confidential informant led to arrangements for buying methamphetamine from Nogowski for $600 in East Grand Forks. The transaction took place at the 200 block of LaBree Ave. N. in Thief River Falls at around 3:37 a.m.
- Evidence: The informant provided a baggie of meth, a white hydrocodone pill, and a blue pen containing a small bag of meth to the officer. Nogowski allegedly sold 10.131 grams of meth to the informant for $400, and the remaining $200 in drug-buy funds were returned to the task force.
- Additional Involvement: Nogowski allegedly consumed 1.75 grams of meth himself and provided 3.5 grams to another individual present at the location. This individual gave the informant the pen containing meth and the hydrocodone pill, which was later provided to law enforcement for evidence.
- Identification: The informant positively identified Nogowski as the person who sold the methamphetamine.
