Becker County (trfnews.i234.me) — A 23-year-old woman from Ogema faces a drug DWI charge. The case began with a trespass call, records say. The incident occurred in the White Earth area, according to records.

Charge filed

Misty Dawn Weaver, 23, of Ogema, Minnesota, is charged with one misdemeanor count. The count is DWI for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. The complaint cites Minnesota Statute 169A.20, subdivision 1(2).

What the police reported

According to the complaint, officers were sent to a home after a report of a man trespassing. When police arrived, they saw a vehicle backing out of a driveway. The driver was identified as Weaver.

The complaint says Weaver showed signs of strong impairment. Police reported teeth grinding, also called bruxism. Officers also noted rapid and restless movements. The complaint says those signs fit possible methamphetamine use.

Field tests and arrest

Police asked Weaver to do field sobriety tests, the complaint says. The complaint states she did poorly on three tests. She was then taken into custody.

Weaver was transported to the Becker County Jail, court records say. Investigators later obtained a warrant for a urine sample, the complaint says. The sample was sent to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for testing.

Vehicle search

Police also searched the vehicle, the complaint says. Officers reported finding packaging with a substance inside. The substance field-tested positive for methamphetamine, according to the complaint.

Court and bail

Judge Michael D. Fritz set bail at $0 with conditions, records say. A second option was set at $12,000 without conditions. Conditions include obeying the law and making all court dates.

Court records list January 13, 2026, as the offense date. The filing date is also January 13, 2026. The case remains pending. A charge is not proof of guilt.
