Thief River Falls, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) – Tina Marie Kulvik, a former assistant manager at Northdale Petro in Thief River Falls, is facing two felony counts of theft after an internal investigation revealed nearly $29,300 missing from an ATM under her supervision.
According to court documents, Kulvik was responsible for managing and refilling the ATM with cash. A financial investigation launched in January 2025 uncovered that large sums of money were allegedly shorted during two distinct periods:
-
February 5, 2024 – July 23, 2024:
Approximately $3,300 was reported missing. -
July 24, 2024 – January 24, 2025:
An additional $26,000 was found missing.
The missing amounts were consistent with underfilled ATM transactions compared to bank records and surveillance data, court filings state (TRF News).
Kulvik has now been formally charged with two felony counts of theft, which under Minnesota law can each carry a significant potential prison sentence and restitution order if convicted.
Officials have not disclosed whether further charges could be filed or whether additional suspects are under investigation. No public comments have been made by Kulvik or her legal representation as of yet.
