Grand Forks, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — An unusual scene unfolded at the IHOP on 32nd Avenue South in Grand Forks when the restaurant appeared completely empty during its regular business hours. A video captured at 5:53 p.m. showed an empty parking lot and no staff visible inside the establishment. A camera operator entered the premises, calling out for anyone present, but received no response.

Concerned by the lack of activity, the individual contacted the Grand Forks Police Department. Upon investigation, officers found two employees inside the restaurant’s cooler, who explained they hadn’t heard anyone enter due to the noise insulation. The restaurant’s doors were unlocked, and the lights were on, but the staff was unaware of the visitor’s presence.

The IHOP has since resumed normal operations, and no further issues have been reported.
