Red Lake Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A 74-year-old Red Lake Falls woman, Janice Jeanne Olson, suffered life-threatening injuries Friday morning when her golf cart was struck by a semi-truck in the city. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Olson was driving her 2006 golf cart westbound on Seventh Street when it collided with a northbound 2013 Peterbilt semi-truck driven by 53-year-old Lance Robert Opdahl of Greenbush.

The incident occurred at 9:31 a.m., prompting a response from the State Patrol and the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Olson was immediately transported to Sanford Medical Center in West Fargo, N.D., but as of Monday afternoon, Sanford had no information on a patient by that name. Opdahl reported no injuries in the crash.
