72 MPH IN A 40 MPH CONSTRUCTION ZONE
A driver was recently cited yesterday in the southeast region for traveling 72 mph in a posted 40 mph construction zone with workers present.
* $194 fine
* 9 points on their driving record
That’s 32 mph over the posted speed limit in an area where people are working just feet from passing traffic. Please slow down and keep everyone safe!

👏
How much was the ticket?
Since the speed limit change they only patrol construction zones and two lanes hwys like vultures they dont ever patrol 94 anymore atleast the stretch i drive, I never see them besides west of mandan at the speed zone they sit otherwise ya never see them. Pretty wild for how fast people drive on 94 right now and they are like vultures on two lanes bs the ones going 100 on 94 🤔 ,its ridiculous 😒 this winter should have some pretty intense pile ups
Nothing new there
Probably going faster. Just locked him in at 72. Guessing was,probably closer to 80 when spotted.
Same people that don’t move to the right when cars are on the shoulder.
Were there workers present?
Expensive lesson maybe learned?
Revoke license
While traveling all over the country, I find that Canadians and North Dakotans drive like their hair is on fire. Just an observation…
