CLEARWATER COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A 61-year-old woman has been arrested in Clearwater County on serious drug and DWI charges.
Authorities have confirmed that Edwynna Kemple was taken into custody on March 7, 2025, at 5:14 p.m. She now faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, including:
- 5th-degree drug sale (Schedule IV controlled substance mixture)
- Driving After Revocation (DAR)
- DWI – Operating Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
- Third-Degree DWI with One Aggravating Factor
- Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test (Blood or Urine via Search Warrant)
What happened?
While details are still emerging, police records show Kemple was arrested for drug-related activity and later found driving while under the influence of a controlled substance. She also allegedly refused to submit to a chemical test, which could indicate possible impairment at the time of her arrest.
Her Driving After Revocation (DAR) charge suggests that Kemple had previous driving violations and was not legally allowed to operate a vehicle at the time of her arrest.
This is a developing case—stay tuned for more updates as the investigation unfolds.

Refusing a DWI chemical test in Minnesota can automatically result in a driver’s license suspension and may be used as evidence of impairment in court. Drug-impaired driving has surged in recent years, with opioids, methamphetamine, and prescription sedatives often being the substances detected in these cases.
