$3.7 Million Renovation Plan for Fisher School

FISHER, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Fisher School has a $3.7-million dollar remodeling project proposal.
the Fisher School District will ask voters to approve the issuance of general obligation school building bonds for remodeling renovations and or expansion of Fisher school not to exceed a three million six hundred ninety five thousand dollars Fisher Superintendent Evan Hanson said there are several projects the a funds would be used for including an upgrade to the HVAC system we’ve got some security upgrades that we’re looking to for like the main entrance we’ll be doing some renovations to the locker rooms and restrooms so make sure everything is eighty eight compliant we had an a whole MEK room which we now use for as an agricultural room and our Career and Technical Education has been expanded a lot so probably looking at the addition of a greenhouse and renovating that space to make it more agriculture and career technical education appropriate probably the the biggest aspect of it is to upgrade to our HVAC system just to make sure that everything is universe all the way through and then also some building envelope repair one of those things is probably resurfacing the playground the HVAC system upgrade would tie the three different sections of the school into a universal system Hansen said the security upgrades to the front of the school but direct all traffic to the office rather than allowing access to the entire building we’re looking at directing all traffic to the main office you know currently once your post into the building you have access to the entire building so at times when you know students are here when school is in session anybody who comes into the building would come Cory into the main office voters in the Fisher School District can vote absentee at the district office on November 5th the combined polling place will be at the Fisher School Library
