$130-Million Drone Crashes and is Destroyed in Proximity of Grand Forks Air Force Base

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A $130-million Global Hawk drone crashed and was destroyed Friday morning near the Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota. The aircraft is an unmanned drone and no one was injured on the ground.
neil carlson here at the site of a uh aircraft crash a u.s air force global hawk rq-4 an unmanned aircraft a drone went down out here this is about nine miles northwest of the grand forks air force base this happened at about uh 7 a.m on this friday we’ll uh zoom in here a bit we’re being kept about a mile away from the site by security i talked with a sergeant tiggs of grand forks of public affairs who says the aircraft went down about 7 am on this friday morning it was on an approach to the grand forks air force base it’s still under investigation of what happened here again this is an unmanned aircraft a drone that went down but it’s a large aircraft 131 foot wingspan and valued at 130 million dollars so no one in the aircraft no one injured and no one injured on the ground uh went down about uh seven o’clock this morning the area is secured looks like we’re going to be kicked out of this area now too but uh it’s still all under investigation saw loaders being brought in and lights to work at night there’s classified military equipment on the plane the plane has some 10 000 combat missions doing video surveillance photographic surveillance and acting as a communication headquarters in uh battlefields around the world stationed here at the grand forks air force base so someone’s going to have some explaining to do after an 130 million dollar aircraft crashes here some nine miles northwest of the grand forks air force base we’ll have more information as soon as it’s available i’m neil carlson reporting for inews dot tv
