GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – The Grand Forks Police Department is urgently seeking public assistance in locating an armed burglary suspect who struck on Tuesday, August 13. The suspect, described as a white male in his early to mid-30s, was last seen wearing gray shorts, a white tank top, white tennis shoes, and black headphones. He has a tattoo on his right arm and possibly another on his left.
The incident occurred behind a business at 1321 S. Washington St., where the suspect was seen stealing an electric RAD scooter after cutting its padlock with bolt cutters. When confronted by a man from the business, the suspect threatened him with the bolt cutters before fleeing southbound on the stolen scooter.
This is the second armed robbery in Grand Forks in as many days, though the suspect in the previous incident has been apprehended. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Grand Forks Police Department at (701) 787-8000.
