MINNEAPOLIS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – An Iowan has been charged with murder following the grim discovery of a former romantic partner’s body in a crashed car in southern Minnesota, according to Hennepin County court documents.

Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Saturday morning in Olmsted County and found the driver, Margot Lewis, 32, seated on a lawn chair in the median of Interstate 90 near Eyota. Bystanders alerted police to a dead person in the back seat, who was identified as 35-year-old Liara Tsai. She was wrapped in bedding, a mattress, and a tarp, with a puncture wound on her neck.

Tsai, a DJ, producer, and beloved member of Minnesota’s trans community, was mourned by the LGBTQ advocacy group OutFront Minnesota.

An autopsy revealed Tsai died from multiple sharp-force injuries. Investigators discovered a bloody scene in Tsai’s Minneapolis apartment, indicating she was not killed in the crash. A missing kitchen knife and other blood evidence pointed to a violent death.

Lewis, visiting from Boston, had been picked up by Tsai from the airport on June 21. Despite being charged with concealing a dead body, Lewis has not cooperated with the investigation and exhibited combative behavior when officers attempted to collect evidence.

Authorities are working to transfer Lewis from Olmsted County to Hennepin County to face further charges.

  1. Charged with 2 counts of murder because the victim identified as they/them. Upon being charged, the male suspect who identified as a female, decided to also identify as being deaf and blind.

Is this peak liberalism or what?
