GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – The Grand Forks Police Department is actively searching for a suspect involved in a terrifying incident downtown late Thursday night. Just after 10 p.m., a man wielding a machete began threatening people in the area of 400 Demers Ave.

- Swung a machete at a person riding a scooter.
- Threatened two other individuals with the machete.
- No injuries were reported.
- The suspect claimed he believed the cartel was after him.
