FERGUS FALLS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fergus Falls duo, Jennifer M. Vold and Michael Jean Johnson, are facing serious legal trouble after being charged with six felony counts each for receiving stolen property in connection with a string of trailer thefts.
According to court documents, five dump trailers and a camper were stolen from the Minneapolis area. Investigators used Apple AirTag trackers on two of the stolen trailers, leading them to West Mall in Fergus Falls and another near Dairy Queen in Fergus Falls.
During the investigation, Vold admitted to the thefts, reportedly telling an investigator:
“F* it, I stole the trailers.”**
Authorities formally charged both Vold and Johnson, who now face six felony counts each. Investigators continue working to recover additional stolen property and determine if more individuals were involved in the crime.
