Nick Minske, who was critically injured when a car pulled out in front of him, will have his organs harvested on Friday. His wife, Rachel, shared on social media that there will be an honor walk for Nick at 9:45 a.m. on June 21st at Altru Hospital. Friends, family, and supporters are encouraged to gather in the fifth-floor waiting room by 9:30 a.m. Although the timing may vary, the event is expected to begin at 9:45 a.m. Due to the large turnout, some may need to wait outside by the hospital window. This tragic event will ultimately bring hope to others through organ donation.
