Otter Tail County, MN (trfnews.i234.me)—On October 7, 2024, 24-year-old Zachary Allan Michael Seaburg was arrested in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. He faces charges of escape from custody under Minnesota Statute 609.485.2(1)
fleeing a peace officer by means other than a motor vehicle under Statute 609.487.6
and fifth-degree drug possession under Statute 152.025.2(1)
According to reports, Seaburg attempted to flee from the Otter Tail County Probation Office on October 7, 2024. He was observed running north on Mill Street while still handcuffed. Law enforcement officers apprehended him shortly thereafter at a nearby apartment building.
Prior to this incident, Seaburg was scheduled for a court appearance on October 8, 2024, related to felony drug charges. In a previous encounter with law enforcement, he was found in possession of 264 grams of methamphetamine, 24 grams of cocaine, and a quantity of M30 fentanyl pills. Additionally, on September 24, 2024, he was discovered with a small baggie of methamphetamine while on bail.
Seaburg is currently held in custody at the Otter Tail County Jail. His charges include a gross misdemeanor for escape from custody, a misdemeanor for fleeing a peace officer by means other than a motor vehicle, and a felony for fifth-degree drug possession.
