BELTRAMI COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday, August 20th, at Kitchi Lake in Beltrami County, Minnesota, when a 30-year-old man lost his life after diving into shallow water.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report that the man was unresponsive after jumping from a dock into the lake.
Despite immediate life-saving efforts by individuals on the scene and continued attempts by law enforcement and first responders, the man could not be revived.
He was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
