Wright County Woman Injured In Rockford Township Crash On Highway 55 | trfnews.i234.me

ROCKFORD TOWNSHIP, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A two-vehicle crash east of Buffalo in Rockford Township resulted in injuries to a Monticello woman on the morning of June 22, 2025.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 10:03 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 55 and 10th Street. A 2013 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling eastbound when it collided with a westbound 2007 Mazda CX-9 that was attempting to turn left.

The driver of the Malibu, 33-year-old Luz Emilia Solorzano Juarez of Monticello, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Buffalo Hospital. She was wearing a seatbelt, and airbags deployed.

The Mazda CX-9 was driven by 71-year-old Daniel Richard Kelzer, also of Monticello. He was uninjured and also had airbags deployed.

Road conditions were dry, and alcohol was not involved. Agencies assisting included the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Buffalo Fire, and Allina Ambulance.
