ST. ANTHONY, Minn.<\/strong> \u2014 Police say one man is dead and a juvenile boy was seriously injured after a stabbing at a St. Anthony apartment complex early Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

Officers were dispatched at about 5:01 a.m.<\/strong> to the Equinox Apartments<\/strong> at 2812 Silver Lane<\/strong> for a reported stabbing in a hallway.<\/p>\n

Police located one adult male deceased at the scene. A juvenile male victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n

SWAT Called, But Suspect Had Already Left<\/h2>\n

Investigators initially believed the suspect might still be inside an apartment. Authorities requested help from Ramsey County SWAT<\/strong> and attempted contact.<\/p>\n

Police later determined the suspect had fled before officers arrived.<\/p>\n

Spotted In Duluth, Pursuit Ends In Crash<\/h2>\n

Authorities in northeastern Minnesota were alerted after information suggested the suspect was traveling north in a stolen vehicle.<\/p>\n

At about 9:00 a.m.<\/strong>, a deputy reportedly spotted the vehicle in Duluth\u2019s Lakeside<\/strong> neighborhood. Deputies attempted a traffic stop, and a pursuit followed.<\/p>\n

Authorities say the vehicle went north on North Shore Drive<\/strong> for several miles before crashing near the intersection of North Shore Drive<\/strong> and Homestead Road<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The suspect ran on foot, but was captured a short time later with assistance from the St. Louis County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/strong>, Duluth Police<\/strong>, and the Minnesota State Patrol<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A St. Louis County deputy was treated and released from a local hospital for minor injuries after a collision involving the suspect vehicle and a marked patrol vehicle.<\/p>\n

Investigation Continues<\/h2>\n

Custody of the suspect was transferred to the St. Anthony Police Department<\/strong><\/a>. As of early Sunday, authorities had not publicly released the names of the suspect or victims, or a motive.<\/p>\n
