Bemidji<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Cass Lake man is facing criminal charges after an incident at a Bemidji park, according to court documents.<\/p>\n

Gary William Allen of Cass Lake is charged with two felony counts of fourth-degree assault of a peace officer.<\/p>\n

He is also charged with a gross misdemeanor for obstructing the legal process.<\/p>\n

Call at Paul Bunyan Park<\/h2>\n

According to a statement of probable cause, officers responded to Paul Bunyan Park on Jan. 8.<\/p>\n

The call reported three people drinking in the park.<\/p>\n

Police said Allen was hostile when officers arrived.<\/p>\n

Court records say Allen tried to block officers from speaking to others.<\/p>\n

The report says he kicked snow at an officer.<\/p>\n

Officers also poured out a bottle believed to be vodka, the report says.<\/p>\n
