Court records identify the defendant as Glen Dale Lamorie<\/strong>, 50, of Mahnomen.<\/p>\n

He is charged with felony second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.<\/p>\n

He is also charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and misdemeanor indecent exposure.<\/p>\n

According to the criminal complaint, officers were called to Park Terrace Apartments on January 7, 2026.<\/p>\n

The call came in around 3:42 p.m., records say.<\/p>\n

Callers reported a man in the hallway pounding on doors.<\/p>\n

They also reported he had a knife, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived, they reported seeing a naked man in the hallway.<\/p>\n

Records say he was yelling profanities outside an open apartment door.<\/p>\n

The complaint says he kept one hand hidden behind a doorway.<\/p>\n

Knife recovered, complaint says<\/h2>\n

An officer drew a taser and gave repeated commands, the complaint states.<\/p>\n

Records say Lamorie later showed both hands and dropped a metallic object.<\/p>\n

That object was identified as a knife, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

A second knife was later recovered near the doorway, records say.<\/p>\n

Intoxication noted<\/h2>\n

Officers reported Lamorie appeared highly intoxicated and slurred his speech.<\/p>\n

Records say he refused to walk and had to be carried to a squad vehicle.<\/p>\n

A preliminary breath test measured a .357, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

That is more than four times the legal driving limit in Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Neighbor report included<\/h2>\n

A neighbor told officers Lamorie knocked on her door several times that day.<\/p>\n

She reported he once held an object that looked like a long file.<\/p>\n

She said she and her daughter were scared, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Bail and release conditions<\/h2>\n

Judge Seamus Patrick Duffy set bail at $300 with conditions or $12,000 without conditions.<\/p>\n
