The call came in at 2:32 p.m., according to the report.<\/p>\n

What the police say happened<\/h2>\n

Police said Roberto Carlos Palacio Gonzalez<\/strong> of Thief River Falls was driving a 1999 Ford F-150<\/strong> eastbound on Greenwood Street East.<\/p>\n

According to the report, the driver lost control on an icy roadway. The pickup then swerved across the lane and struck a light pole on the north side of the street.<\/p>\n
