NIELSVILLE, Minn.<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2013 A Friday night crash west of Nielsville claimed the life of a 64-year-old local man after his vehicle left the roadway and struck trees.<\/p>\n

Kevin Moen, 64, of Nielsville<\/strong>, was pronounced dead at the scene despite lifesaving efforts by emergency responders, according to an update attributed to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

The fatal crash occurred Friday, November 6, 2026, along 440th Street Southwest in Polk County.<\/p>\n

At approximately 7:33 p.m., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received an automated 911 crash detection alert.<\/p>\n

For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle left the roadway and entered the wooded area.<\/p>\n

Authorities identified Moen as the vehicle’s only occupant.<\/p>\n
