DETROIT LAKES, Minn.<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2013 A 56-year-old man faces four criminal charges after a traffic stop in Detroit Lakes.<\/p>\n

Brian Keith Krueger, 56<\/strong>, is charged with driving after cancellation, intent to escape motor vehicle taxation, failure to provide insurance information, and obstructing legal process.<\/p>\n

According to a criminal complaint filed in Becker County District Court, Krueger allegedly refused to exit his van after being informed of his arrest.<\/p>\n

Deputy Spots Van on Richwood Road<\/h2>\n

The incident occurred October 9, 2026, when a Becker County deputy observed a familiar van traveling southbound on Richwood Road.<\/p>\n

According to court documents, the deputy recognized the vehicle as belonging to Krueger.<\/p>\n

The deputy also knew that Krueger’s driving privileges had been canceled as inimical to public safety.<\/p>\n

Police stopped the van within Detroit Lakes city limits.<\/p>\n

The deputy confirmed Krueger was driving the vehicle.<\/p>\n
