NORTHFIELD, Minn.<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A 62-year-old woman was injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Rice County.<\/p>\n

The crash happened November 6, 2026, at approximately 4:12 p.m. in Northfield.<\/p>\n

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 3 and Jefferson Parkway.<\/p>\n

A Subaru Impreza and a Honda Odyssey collided at the intersection, injuring one driver.<\/p>\n

Subaru and Honda Collide at Northfield Intersection<\/h2>\n

The State Patrol reported that a 2014 Subaru Impreza was traveling southbound on Highway 3.<\/p>\n

The Subaru collided with a 2016 Honda Odyssey at Jefferson Parkway.<\/p>\n

Investigators reported dry road conditions when the accident occurred.<\/p>\n

Airbags deployed in the Subaru Impreza during the collision.<\/p>\n

However, the Honda Odyssey’s airbags did not deploy, according to the official report.<\/p>\n

Ruby Rodriguez Rojas, 62, of Northfield, was driving the 2014 Subaru Impreza.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol confirmed that Rodriguez Rojas was wearing her seat belt.<\/p>\n

Alcohol was not suspected as a factor involving the Subaru driver.<\/p>\n

A passenger in the Subaru was also listed at Northfield Hospital.<\/p>\n

Karen Lorena Rodriguez Rojas, 26, of Northfield, was identified as the passenger.<\/p>\n

Authorities reported that Karen Rodriguez Rojas did not suffer any injuries.<\/p>\n

She was also wearing her seat belt when the collision occurred.<\/p>\n

Honda Odyssey Driver Escapes Injury<\/h2>\n

Crosby Alexander Dickinson, 45, of Northfield, was driving the 2016 Honda Odyssey.<\/p>\n

Dickinson was not injured in the collision, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.<\/p>\n

He was wearing his seat belt and did not require transportation to a hospital.<\/p>\n

Investigators reported that alcohol was not suspected as a factor involving Dickinson.<\/p>\n

No injuries were listed for the Honda driver in the official crash report.<\/p>\n
