BEMIDJI, Minn.<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Three people, including an infant girl, were injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Bemidji.<\/p>\n

The collision happened November 6, 2026, at approximately 3:48 p.m. on westbound Highway 2 at Moberg Drive Northwest.<\/p>\n

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a GMC Sierra pickup and a Ford Freestyle collided while traveling westbound.<\/p>\n

Three occupants of the Ford suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Sanford Bemidji for treatment.<\/p>\n

Two Vehicles Collide on Highway 2<\/h2>\n

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that both vehicles were heading westbound on Highway 2 before the collision.<\/p>\n

The crash involved a 2007 GMC Sierra and a 2005 Ford Freestyle.<\/p>\n

Investigators reported dry road conditions at the time of the accident.<\/p>\n

Airbags deployed in the Ford Freestyle, while the GMC Sierra’s airbags did not deploy.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol did not provide additional details explaining what caused the collision.<\/p>\n

Bemidji Woman and Infant Injured<\/h2>\n

Nikki Lynn Johnson, 41, of Bemidji, was driving the 2005 Ford Freestyle.<\/p>\n

Johnson suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Bemidji.<\/p>\n

A female infant from Bemidji was also riding in the Ford.<\/p>\n

The child suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Sanford Bemidji for medical care.<\/p>\n

Authorities did not release the infant’s name.<\/p>\n

Another passenger, Shaun Lee Schoenborn, 45, of Bemidji, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Schoenborn was transported to Sanford Bemidji following the collision.<\/p>\n

Johnson and the infant were listed as restrained. Schoenborn’s seat belt use was listed as unknown.<\/p>\n

Three Occupants of Pickup Escape Injury<\/h2>\n

Cierra Anne Fournier, 26, of Bemidji, was driving the 2007 GMC Sierra.<\/p>\n

Two passengers were riding with her when the vehicles collided.<\/p>\n

Xavier James Fournier, 24, of Cass Lake, was one of the passengers.<\/p>\n

Osaze Sunshyne Marweg, 21, of Bemidji, was also inside the pickup.<\/p>\n

According to the State Patrol, none of the three GMC occupants suffered injuries.<\/p>\n

All three were wearing seat belts when the collision occurred.<\/p>\n

None of the pickup’s occupants required transportation to a hospital.<\/p>\n

Emergency Crews Respond to Bemidji Crash<\/h2>\n

The Bemidji Police Department and Bemidji Ambulance assisted the Minnesota State Patrol at the scene.<\/p>\n

The accident was handled by the State Patrol’s Thief River Falls District.<\/p>\n

Authorities reported that alcohol was not suspected as a factor for either driver.<\/p>\n

The crash report was last updated at 5:27 p.m. Friday.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol marked the information as complete at that time.<\/p>\n

Officials have not listed any citations or determined fault in the released information.<\/p>\n
