KUGLER TOWNSHIP, MN<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2013 A 19-year-old Aurora man was injured Thursday morning after two vehicles collided on Highway 135 in St. Louis County.<\/p>\n

The collision happened November 5, 2026, at approximately 5:36 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 135 and Wahlsten Road.<\/p>\n

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Pontiac Torrent and Chevrolet Impala were involved in the crash.<\/p>\n

One driver suffered injuries, while the other escaped unharmed.<\/p>\n

Two Vehicles Collide Near Wahlsten Road<\/h2>\n

The State Patrol reported that a 2008 Pontiac Torrent was traveling northbound on Highway 135.<\/p>\n

Near Wahlsten Road, the Pontiac collided with a 2014 Chevrolet Impala.<\/p>\n

Following the impact, the Pontiac came to rest in the westbound ditch.<\/p>\n

Road conditions were reported as dry when the collision occurred.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol did not specify what caused the two vehicles to collide.<\/p>\n

Aurora Teen Suffers Injuries<\/h2>\n

The Pontiac driver was identified as Ethan Ray Kilmer, 19, of Aurora, Minnesota<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the State Patrol, Kilmer suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the collision.<\/p>\n

Northern Pines Medical Center was listed as his healthcare facility following the accident.<\/p>\n

Investigators confirmed that Kilmer was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.<\/p>\n

The Pontiac’s airbags did not deploy during the collision.<\/p>\n

The Chevrolet Impala driver was identified as Scott Roderick Holmes, 55, of Embarrass, Minnesota<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the State Patrol, Holmes was not injured in the accident.<\/p>\n

He was wearing his seat belt when the vehicles collided.<\/p>\n

The Chevrolet’s airbags also did not deploy.<\/p>\n

No hospital treatment was reported for Holmes.<\/p>\n

Emergency Crews Respond to Highway 135<\/h2>\n

Several emergency response agencies assisted at the scene.<\/p>\n

Responding agencies included Tower Ambulance, Embarrass Fire Department, Virginia Fire Department, and the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

The Minnesota State Patrol’s Virginia district handled the crash investigation.<\/p>\n
