STONEHAM TOWNSHIP, MINNESOTA<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A 42-year-old Litchfield man was injured Monday afternoon when his SUV collided with a semi in Chippewa County.<\/p>\n

The crash happened around 2:37 p.m. on November 2, 2026, at Highway 7 and Highway 23 near Clara City.<\/p>\n

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Hyundai Tucson and a Peterbilt semi collided at the intersection.<\/p>\n

Authorities reported wet road conditions when the accident occurred.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol reports a 2025 Hyundai Tucson was traveling northbound on Highway 23.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a 2025 Peterbilt semi tractor was traveling westbound on Highway 7.<\/p>\n

The vehicles made contact as they entered the intersection.<\/p>\n

Investigators reported that the Hyundai’s airbags did not deploy during the collision.<\/p>\n

However, the semi’s airbags deployed.<\/p>\n
