BROWERVILLE, MINNESOTA<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A 16-year-old girl was injured Saturday night when two SUVs collided on Highway 71 in Todd County.<\/p>\n

The Minnesota State Patrol reports the crash occurred around 9:46 p.m. on October 31, 2026.<\/p>\n

The collision happened near mile marker 193 in Hartford Township, near Browerville.<\/p>\n

Authorities reported that alcohol was suspected involving the driver of one vehicle.<\/p>\n

Two SUVs Collide on Highway 71<\/h2>\n

According to the State Patrol, a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling southbound on Highway 71.<\/p>\n

At the same time, a 2013 GMC Acadia was traveling northbound.<\/p>\n

The vehicles collided near mile marker 193.<\/p>\n

Both SUVs experienced airbag deployment during the crash.<\/p>\n

Investigators reported that road conditions were dry.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol did not explain why the two vehicles collided or identify which driver caused the crash.<\/p>\n

She was transported to CentraCare in Long Prairie for medical treatment.<\/p>\n

Her passenger, Sophia Ann Doiron, 15, was not injured.<\/p>\n

Doiron did not require hospital transportation, according to the State Patrol.<\/p>\n

Both teenagers were wearing seat belts when the crash occurred.<\/p>\n

Alcohol was not listed as suspected for either occupant of the Chevrolet.<\/p>\n

Browerville Driver Escapes Injury<\/h2>\n

The GMC Acadia was driven by Jose Luis Ambriz Parra, 34, of Browerville.<\/p>\n

Parra was not injured in the collision and was not transported to a hospital.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol confirmed that he was wearing a seat belt.<\/p>\n

His vehicle’s airbags deployed during the crash.<\/p>\n
