MORRISTOWN, MINNESOTA<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Two women were injured Saturday afternoon when a pickup and a Cadillac collided at a Rice County intersection.<\/p>\n

The crash happened around 1:05 p.m. on October 31, 2026, at Highway 60 and Holland Avenue near Morristown.<\/p>\n

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2016 Ram 1500 pickup and a 2015 Cadillac XTS collided at the intersection.<\/p>\n

Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a Mankato hospital.<\/p>\n

Pickup and Cadillac Collide at Intersection<\/h2>\n

The State Patrol reports the Ram pickup was traveling eastbound on Highway 60 before the crash.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Cadillac was traveling southbound on Holland Avenue.<\/p>\n

The vehicles collided as they entered the intersection.<\/p>\n

Both vehicles had their airbags deploy during the collision.<\/p>\n

Authorities reported that road conditions were dry when the crash occurred.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol did not identify which driver, if either, was responsible for the collision.<\/p>\n

Waseca Woman and Passenger Injured<\/h2>\n

Debra Lee Jelinek, 61, of Waseca, Minnesota, was driving the Ram pickup.<\/p>\n

Jelinek suffered injuries that authorities classified as non-life-threatening.<\/p>\n

Her passenger, MaryJo Catherine Runde, 72, of Kimball, Minnesota, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Both women were taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato for medical treatment.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol confirmed that both women were wearing seat belts when the crash occurred.<\/p>\n

Additional details about their injuries or conditions following treatment were not released.<\/p>\n

Two Morristown Men Escape Injury<\/h2>\n

The Cadillac was driven by Gabriel Brant Lacanne, 19, of Morristown.<\/p>\n

His passenger was Hayden Matthew Duhme, 19, also of Morristown.<\/p>\n

Neither man reported injuries in the collision.<\/p>\n

Both occupants were wearing seat belts, according to the State Patrol.<\/p>\n

Despite the airbags deploying inside the Cadillac, neither occupant required hospital treatment.<\/p>\n

Officials did not list alcohol as a suspected factor for anyone involved.<\/p>\n

Emergency personnel assisted at the intersection following the two-vehicle collision.<\/p>\n

The Minnesota State Patrol documented the accident under incident number 26104620.<\/p>\n

Its public crash report was last updated October 31 at 3:13 p.m.<\/p>\n

The report lists the available information as complete.<\/p>\n
