ROTHSAY, MINN.<\/strong> \u2014 The former Rothsay city clerk has been sentenced in a felony theft case tied to city utility payments and a local fundraiser.<\/p>\n

Lisa M. Zimmerman<\/strong> was sentenced to 30 days of electronic home monitoring<\/strong> and five years of supervised probation<\/strong>, according to court records.<\/p>\n

Zimmerman has also been ordered to pay $67,000 in restitution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Plea deal<\/h2>\n

Under a plea agreement, Zimmerman pleaded guilty to one count of felony theft<\/strong>. Other counts were dismissed under the deal.<\/p>\n

Court documents say Zimmerman took cash utility payments<\/strong> made to the City of Rothsay.<\/p>\n
