Where: Highway 58, mile marker 8.5, nine miles southwest of Trenton<\/p>\n

When: Wednesday, October 28, 6:42 a.m. Central Time<\/p>\n

Road Conditions: Icy<\/p>\n

Weather Conditions: Clear<\/p>\n

Crash Involvement: CMV\/pickup<\/p>\n

Type of Crash: T-bone<\/p>\n

Agencies Involved: North Dakota State Patrol, McKenzie County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Williams County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Fairview Fire Department, Sidney Ambulance, Williston Rural Fire Department, Trenton First Responders, Williston Ambulance<\/p>\n

NARRATIVE: On Wednesday, October 28 at approximately 6:42 a.m., a 2002 Ford F-150 was northbound on Highway 58 between mile marker 8 and 9. The F-150 began crossing the MonDak Bridge, which at the time was icy and frost-covered. The F-150 lost control and crossed into the southbound lane. A 2026 Western Star CMV was southbound and struck the pickup in T-bone collision. The driver of the F-150 died at the scene. The driver of the CMV sustained minor injuries. Highway 58 was closed at approximately 6:42 AM CT and will remain closed until the scene is cleared.<\/p>\n

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota State Patrol.
