Recent court information lists Gino James Acker of Moorhead as the defendant. He faces one count of Third Degree Assault \u2013 Inflict Substantial Bodily Harm.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, the woman reported the incident on November 15, 2025. She said Acker became angry during a dispute.<\/p>\n

She told investigators that Acker shoved her forcefully to the ground. She tried to break her fall with her arms as she went down.<\/p>\n

Officials say she suffered a cut that required eight stitches. That level of injury meets the legal standard for \u201csubstantial bodily harm.\u201d<\/p>\n

Court records show Acker was booked into the Clay County Jail on November 24, 2025. The booking listed the same third-degree assault charge now filed in court.<\/p>\n

The case remains active as of early December 2025. Acker\u2019s future court dates will be set by Clay County District Court.<\/p>\n
