Dodge of Bemidji was stopped on November 28 around 11:22 p.m. The stop soon shifted from a minor violation to a criminal case.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"text-align: center; margin: 20px 0;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"max-width: 100%; height: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Jennifer-C.-Dodge.png\" alt=\"Mugshot of Jennifer C. She is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The complaint says Dodge was told to remain in her vehicle. Instead, she got out and walked back toward the officer.<\/p>\n<p>The officer reported smelling a strong odor of alcohol. Dodge\u2019s speech was described as slow and slurred.<\/p>\n<p>When asked how much she had to drink, Dodge allegedly answered, \u201cEnough.\u201d She then tried to walk away from the traffic stop, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>Officers say Dodge began to scream and fight as they detained her. She allegedly kicked at them and struck one officer in the shin.<\/p>\n<p>A breath test later showed a blood alcohol level of 0.23, the report states. That is close to three times Minnesota\u2019s legal limit of 0.08.<\/p>\n<p>Dodge now faces three charges. She is charged with felony assault of a peace officer, gross misdemeanor DWI, and obstructing the legal process.<\/p>\n<p>The case will move through Beltrami County District Court. People can search case records and hearing schedules at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mncourts.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mncourts.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Minnesota Department of Public Safety notes that DWI convictions can bring fines, jail time, and license loss. Dodge remain allegations.
