East Grand Forks (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>)<\/strong> \u2014 No criminal charges have been filed in East Grand Forks against Jackson Taylor as of Jan. 2, 2026.<\/p>\n

Police in that city have identified Taylor, of Grand Forks, as a possible suspect in a theft and property damage case.<\/p>\n

The East Grand Forks case dates back to Dec. 4. Police say the incident happened near Sacred Heart School.<\/p>\n

As of Friday, officials confirm no charges have been filed against Taylor in that Minnesota case.<\/p>\n

However, Taylor is facing criminal charges on the Grand Forks side of the river.<\/p>\n

East Grand Forks Investigation Ongoing<\/h2>\n

East Grand Forks police announced this past week that Taylor was a person of interest in the case.<\/p>\n

The investigation involves reported theft and damage to property in the area near the school.<\/p>\n

Police have not released details on what items were taken or damaged.<\/p>\n

Authorities also have not said whether more suspects may be involved.<\/p>\n

Officials stress that an investigation does not equal a charge.<\/p>\n

Taylor has not been charged in Minnesota as of the date of this report.<\/p>\n

Charges Filed in Grand Forks<\/h2>\n

While the East Grand Forks case remains uncharged, Taylor is accused in a separate case in Grand Forks.<\/p>\n

According to court records, the Grand Forks incidents allegedly occurred on Dec. 5.<\/p>\n

Police say Taylor broke into and damaged vehicles at the Central Parking Ramp downtown.<\/p>\n

The parking ramp is located in the city\u2019s central business area.<\/p>\n

Authorities say multiple vehicles were affected.<\/p>\n

Taylor is facing two felony counts of unlawful entry into a vehicle.<\/p>\n

He is also charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief.<\/p>\n

Additional charges include theft of property and driving under suspension.<\/p>\n

Cases Handled Separately<\/h2>\n

Law enforcement officials note the Minnesota and North Dakota cases are separate matters.<\/p>\n

Each case will move forward under its own legal process.<\/p>\n
