Williams attended a scheduled meeting with his probation agent on October 22.<\/p>\n

Authorities detained him during that meeting over an alleged probation violation, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Williams later agreed to speak with police after investigators advised him of his rights.<\/p>\n

During the interview, Williams acknowledged the conversation with the girl, according to court documents.<\/p>\n

He told investigators he “was not in the correct headspace at the time,” the complaint states.<\/p>\n

His statements were included in the criminal complaint supporting the new felony charge.<\/p>\n
