The Sheriff\u2019s Office said it handled three separate incidents on Pelican Lake. The calls came in over the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n

A Valley News Live report<\/a> said the incidents occurred between Sunday evening and Monday. Reporter Bobby Falat said there was no immediate word on injuries.<\/p>\n

Officials warned that lake ice can change fast. A safe-looking spot can fail nearby.<\/p>\n

Ice thickness can vary across short distances. Currents, springs, and cracks can weaken ice.<\/p>\n
