The dog reportedly alerted to the package, indicating the possible presence of controlled substances.<\/p>\n
A federal search warrant was obtained to open the shipment.<\/p>\n

Agents Arrange Controlled Drug Delivery<\/h2>\n

Oehler reportedly sent payments using several banking applications.<\/p>\n
He told investigators he had ordered approximately one pound of methamphetamine in the intercepted shipment.<\/p>\n
Oehler also reportedly acknowledged receiving approximately one shipment each month.<\/p>\n
According to court records, he estimated purchasing roughly eight pounds of methamphetamine since March 2025.<\/p>\n
He allegedly told investigators he paid approximately $2,000 per pound.<\/p>\n
He also reportedly claimed he earned about $6,000 per pound.<\/p>\n
Investigators say Oehler described transferring the drugs to another person for distribution.<\/p>\n
He allegedly said he sometimes hid methamphetamine in a wooded area to keep it away from children.<\/p>\n
First-Degree Drug Charge Carries Severe Penalties<\/h2>\n
Prosecutors charged Oehler with first-degree sale of a controlled substance.<\/p>\n
The criminal complaint cites Minnesota Statute 152.021, subdivision 1(1).<\/p>\n
The charge alleges possession with intent to sell at least 100 grams of methamphetamine.<\/p>\n
Under Minnesota law, the alleged offense carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison.<\/p>\n
A conviction could also result in a fine of up to $1 million.<\/p>\n
