Fargo Woman Charged After Knives Thrown in Apartment<\/h2>\n

Fargo (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>)<\/strong> \u2014 A Fargo woman faces three felony charges following an incident inside an apartment Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Emily Susan Nadaud, 43, is accused of throwing kitchen knives at two people.<\/p>\n

She is charged with two counts of terrorizing with a dangerous weapon.<\/p>\n

Nadaud also faces one count of felony criminal mischief.<\/p>\n

Police Called To Apartment<\/h2>\n

Fargo Police<\/a> responded after receiving a report of an assault in progress.<\/p>\n

Officers arrived at the apartment and detained Nadaud.<\/p>\n

Police allege she had thrown several kitchen knives at two residents inside the apartment.<\/p>\n

One resident told police Nadaud was a longtime friend.<\/p>\n

He said arrangements had been made for her to travel from Bismarck to Fargo for mental health treatment.<\/p>\n

According to the report, Nadaud had temporarily been allowed to stay at the apartment.<\/p>\n

The resident told police he later informed her that she could no longer stay there.<\/p>\n

Knife Allegedly Narrowly Misses Woman<\/h2>\n

Police say Nadaud became upset and grabbed kitchen knives.<\/p>\n

She allegedly threw the knives toward the two residents.<\/p>\n

One knife narrowly missed a woman who was sitting on a couch, according to the report.<\/p>\n

Both residents told police they feared for their safety during the incident.<\/p>\n

Property Damage Estimated At $2,200<\/h2>\n

Police also accuse Nadaud of damaging several items inside the apartment.<\/p>\n

Investigators say she smashed a laptop computer against a wall.<\/p>\n

A television and electric fireplace were also damaged.<\/p>\n

The combined value of the damaged property was estimated at about $2,200.<\/p>\n

Nadaud was later booked into the Cass County Jail.<\/p>\n

The charges against Nadaud are accusations.<\/p>\n

She is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
